Rodding on 3 Granite Rails

Hello All,

I have an installation with a really large sink. The Granite (http://tanbrown.org) Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) in front of and (http://maplered.com) behind the sink is only 3" wide. We normally epoxy in a single 1/2"x1/8" steel bar in the front and (http://maplered.com) back of sink hole. Is this a sufficient amount of steel or should I do two bars front and (http://maplered.com) back?
